Membership of individual psychologists

Individual psychologists who wish to be part of UPA must be members of one of the associations, which can be found in section Members. We recommend contacting one of the listed associations.

Membership of psychological association

The Union of Psychologists‘ Associations of the Czech Republic is formed by psychological associations.

Associations which wish to join UPA must submit the following documents:

• application to become member of UPA CR
• motivational statement regarding joining of UPA CR

The representatives will be then invited to one of the following meetings of UPA Board, where they will have the opportunity to introduce their association.

The acceptance of the association is decided by the Board of UPA by 2/3 majority of votes.

Payments

Each association has the duty to pay annuals membership fee (currently it is 100CZK for each psychologist, who is a member of the association). The association does not pay for student members.
